Hell?!?!!

So the CEO of Merrill Lynch - which, by the way, was one of the institutions to get part of the Big Bail-Out Package from the federal government, our tax dollars boys and girls - now thinks he deserves a $10 million year-end bonus? After the company lost money every quarter in the year?! FTS, dude. You shouldn't get a 10-cent bonus for that performance, much less ten mill.

Today, I:

- had to turn the coffeemaker back on at 10:00 am, since some yutzoid had already switched it off
- accidentally left my cell phone at home
- dealt with a coworker who had her cranky-pants on because she's been told she has to do her own web updates now instead of dumping them on me
- tried to load software for a training class I'm attending tomorrow, and found out the server is apparently not configured right - not anything I did, thank goodness, but could make the class interesting
- manager of Business Ops tried to schedule me for another two-hour meeting up against the training class (I'm already missing half of the second day to do a presentation for her)
- ...speaking of which, just found out said presentation has been moved to the auditorium (instead of just a conference room O_O;;;; who me public speaking nervousness much?) Y HALO THAR LARGE ECHOING ROOM which may or may not be full of people in 2 days' time

Point the Fourth wouldn't have been quite as much of a pain, except that she mentioned these meetings once, two or three months ago, and then said nothing since until the day before the meeting, when I suspect it's been on her schedule considerably longer. Also, she typed my email address wrong so that I didn't get the initial message this morning and could only go "...buh?" when they brought it up later in the AM.

...I. Hate. Mondays.
